Season 9, Week 8: Aaron & Karina Go Home

Dancing With The Stars Show

Tuesday night’s Dancing With the Stars week 8 results show was undeniably entertaining, but for Aaron Carter fans, it was undeniably disappointing. Though full of enthusiasm and potential, the emotional 21-year-old pop star was apparently unable to grow a big enough fan base to proceed to the semifinals. Aaron & Karina couldn’t make the judges save them. I’m really unhappy for them I thought they gonna be on the finals… Anyway, show must go on! Here are some of the Week 8 highlights:

Last night on Dancing With the Stars, Mya and Dmitry earned the season’s first perfect 10, putting them leaps and bounds ahead of the rest of the competition, who all fell within one or two points of each other.

Joanna and Derek get to reprise their futuristic paso doble (and not Dmitry and Mya’s samba), which points to who really should have gotten those ten’s last night. Right, Carrie Ann?

And, just as quickly as Joanna and Derek got the encore, they were also the first couple saved from elimination tonight, meaning they will dance in next week’s semifinals.

It’s back to Monday night’s competition, where Tom gets to go over all the drama. Looking back on it, I didn’t think Mya’s samba was that good. I feel wrong for saying that because it’s the only thing to get a perfect 30 all season, but maybe it’s just me. Back to the results (after a performance from Michael Buble): Mya and Dmitry are safe.

Since there’s three dancers left on the block and next week is only the semifinals, it’s safe to assume this week isn’t another double elimination. DanceCenter performs, complete with commentary from season two’s Stacy Keibler.

Next up is this week’s Macy’s Stars of Dance performance: Sabrina Bryan and Mark Ballas doing a paso doble to “Eye of the Tiger.” In tiger costumes. Which America voted on. This filler just keeps getting longer, doesn’t it?

Michael Buble sings again (which I can never get enough of), then the next safety is revealed: Donny and Kym. That puts the not-so-surprising pairs Kelly and Louis and Aaron and Karina in the bottom two. At this point I’ve just accepted the fact that no one votes for Aaron and that he’s probably going home. At least my votes counted!

More filler, this time with Susan Boyle, the Britain’s Got Talent overnight superstar. She belts out  “I Dreamed a Dream,” which still sounds as  good as it did on YouTube.

Back to the final results, which I feel like is just delaying the inevitable. I keep pleading my TV to put me out of my misery, and at the same time I keep asking myself why I’m such a fan of Aaron Carter. Why? Then, Aaron and Karina were announced as the next couple going home. Anticlimactic and sad.

Kelly Osbourne Week 7 Review

Kelly Osbourne and Louis had had a poor performance last week. She had to increase the performance and give it a little more life because judges said that it was “beige”, lets see how Kelly did that on the next video.

What do you think?

Why Tom DeLay Really left the show?

Tom DelayI was thinking about Tom DeLay leaving the show and I found a post that makes me think

It was announced that he will be pulling out due to stress fractures in both feet. My reaction was relatively neutral, I was sorry to see him go under such circumstances and I hope that he gets better quickly. But I can’t say I was horribly broken up by his departure.

But I was disappointed, if not particularly surprised, by the reaction on the left. The Huffington Post in particular has been following the show and the comments have ranged from indifference to outright hostility towards him. Many have implied, and some have outright said, that they are happy for his pain and suffering. The comments about his performance have been largely cruel and vindictive.

Now I do understand that for many on the left he is the man you love to hate, but I don’t see why such hate has to continue years after he is out of office and when he is on a reality show. I’ve got plenty of people on the left and the right who I don’t care for and some who I fervently hope will be retired from public office. But I don’t wish them pain and suffering, I don’t see the need to attack them personally.

What do you think people? Do you think he left the show because he was near to be kicked off only? He didn’t want to be kicked?

Season 9, Week 7: Mark & Lacey Eliminated

Mark & Lacey Was Eliminated

Mark & Lacey Was Eliminated

Retired NFL star Michael Irvin and Food Network host Mark Dacascos became the tenth and eleventh celebrity participants eliminated from Dancing with the Stars’ ninth season during last night’s live results show broadcast of the ABC reality series.

With Michael Irvin first to go, it came down to Aaron Carter and the “Iron Chef” host Mark Dacascos. Unfortunately my idol iron chef Mark Dacascos and his professional partner Lacey Schwimmer, who missed Monday night’s performance episode because she was sick with the flu; were then ousted after competing in a special “Dance Off” with singer Aaron Carter and partner Karina Smirnoff.

Mark and Lacey did great with their performance. I think Mark is a better dancer than Aaron Carter. Well, I guess I’m not gonna watch the rest of this competition because my idol was already out.

Joanna Krupa Keeps His Clothes On

Joanna Krupa from “Dancing with the Stars” has accomplished a feat not many women have been able to do: She was featured on a “Girls Gone Wild” video with Snoop Doggy Dog and managed to keep her clothes on the whole time.

Heard on TMZ.com. I think she could be more wild and show us a little more skin to the people. Anyway his last performing was awful for me, she should effort a little more if she want to continue on the show.

Take a look:
